The Worst Hotel I Have Ever Stayed At. Even One Star Is Far Too Generous

Liked: Absolutely nothing. The only good thing about this hotel was the moment we finally checked out and left. After paying over €1,000 for a prison-like room, appalling service, and complete indifference from the staff, leaving felt like being released from prison. I wouldn't wish this experience on anyone.

Disliked: Now, let's talk about the room itself. We paid over €1,000 for what can only be described as a prison cell masquerading as a hotel room. The only difference is that prisoners aren't charged a fortune for the privilege of staying in one. But the truly astonishing part isn't even the room. It's the complete and shameless lack of willingness to help guests with absolutely anything. At times, it honestly felt as though the staff were competing to see who could make us regret our booking the fastest. We came to Amsterdam to enjoy a vacation. Instead, we got frustration, disappointment, and the unmistakable feeling that we'd been ripped off. Amsterdam has far too many accommodation options for anyone to willingly throw away their hard-earned money on a glorified prison cell staffed by people who couldn't care less about their guests. For over €1,000, we didn't get comfort, hospitality, or even basic respect. We got an outrageously

  Terrible

Disliked: Dirty, old, smelly, very poorly maintained. In room 28, the bed is an open sofa-bed. Terrible on all counts.

  Liked: Staff were great.

Disliked: Room too small. 2single beds put together instead of a double. On 2nd floor even after requesting low floor duel to mobility issues
