Liked: Fantastic location. Within 10 minutes away from Amsterdam Centraal so very handy. You’re literally in the city centre so easy to get to shops and get food etc. It’s a very busy area, which didn’t bother me however keep this in mind. Room was tiny, although from my research previously to booking this, seems to be a norm around this area of Amsterdam. Stairs are very steep and narrow too (which I would probably guess is the norm around the area too) - there’s no lift, so if you have heavy luggages and get one of the rooms in the top floors this could be annoying. Overall for my short stay this did the job. It’s nothing fancy or anything, but for the location and the price I got it for I can’t complain.

Solid, but a bit expensive for what it is

  Liked: Great location, very clean.

Disliked: older building so very narrow curly staircases and no elevator so be mindful what kind of luggage you have!

Liked: We really enjoyed our stay at Damrak Inn! The location was perfect for exploring Amsterdam. Our room was surprisingly spacious, very comfortable, and exceptionally clean. The front desk staff was friendly and welcoming. The only downside was the narrow staircases, which can be challenging when carrying luggage. Other than that, we had an excellent experience and would definitely recommend this hotel!
