Fabulous
This hotel is a hidden gem
Liked: The hotel is a hidden gem. It is on a lovely block one street away from museumplein with all the museums. Also the tram and bus stops are quite close. The staff was terrific and went out of their way to be helpful. The breakfast was good. It is in a very safe area.
I would happily recommend Hotel Fita to anyone visiting Amsterdam, especially those who want to explore its museums, dis
Liked: Hotel Fita is located in Amsterdam’s Museum Quarter, within walking distance of the three museums I was most excited to visit. This made our stay incredibly convenient. The hotel is also close to public transport stops, making it easy to explore other parts of the city. Our room was more than spacious enough for our needs. The hotel offers rooms of different sizes, so I would recommend choosing one that best suits your preferences when booking. The room was very clean, the heating and lighting were excellent, and there was plenty of wardrobe space. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay and experienced no significant issues.
Disliked: There is just one minor detail worth mentioning: the shampoo shelf in the bathroom had some noticeable mould, which was a little unpleasant. However, it was certainly not something that affected our overall experience. Replacing it with a shelf made from a mould-resistant material would be a simple and effective solution.
Clean and welcoming
Liked: Comfy beds. Great front end staff. Alexandra and Kai. Good breakfast. Nice to have coffee and tea in the room. Close to Museums. Easy access to the tram.
Disliked: Warning about the outside steps! Narrow for lugging big suitcases up to reception area. The elevator is small but works!
We thoroughly enjoyed the hotel. The spot, staff and breakfast were all spot on
Liked: It was clean in a fantastic street and the staff were wonderful
Disliked: The staff and how clean and well positioned it was.
Cosy hotel in great city location, due some upgrades!
Liked: Great location in regards to the city amenities and very cosy feel
Disliked: Uncomfortable pillows (with no alternatives) and also situated next to a school which meant very disturbing mornings when we expected to be able to lie in and relax
A real gem in a beautiful neighbourhood, with lovely staff
Liked: A great find! We had a very enjoyable stay. Room was spacious and had dual aspect windows (Room no. 36). Staff were exceptionally welcoming. The breakfast was excellent and the lady serving the food was a delight to talk to each morning. Location was convenient for the 397 bus to/from Schipol and to various tram stops. Hotel is in a quiet, leafy attractive neighbourhood and we slept very soundly. There's a snacks and drinks trust bar/honesty box downstairs that's handy if you're peckish at any time.
Disliked: Nothing - everything was perfect!
