  Disliked: I chose this hotel specifically because it offered on-site parking and breakfast (both at an extra cost). Unfortunately, both fell short. The hotel car park was full, and the few street spaces nearby were hard to find. The breakfast was equally disappointing, not in terms of quality, but for the organization. The menu offers food and drinks, but each guest is limited to a single food item. If you choose something salty, like scrambled eggs or a salmon bagel at €15, it's covered by the breakfast fee. But if you'd prefer a yogurt bowl (€10) with a croissant (€4), that isn't allowed, and I had to pay the cheaper item's price on top of the breakfast I'd already paid for. It made no sense to me

  Excellent experience, except for the mattress

  Liked: Installations, location, staff. Everything was brilliant! The room temperature was great and there's space in it. Lovely windows and great blackout curtains. The mini kitchen is also great.

  Disliked: The mattress could be replaced already. It wasn't torture, but I didn't sleep very comfortably. It's what my husband and I use to call "a boat mattress" because your body tends to roll to the middle.

  Great Hotel - Very Good Value for Money

  Liked: Possibly the best value for money hotel in ‘central’ Amsterdam. Easy walk to the metro and then short train to actual centre. Staff are really friendly. Decent bar.

  Disliked: Didn’t seem to be anyway of controlling heat in the room. There was a thermostat but it did nothing. Might not be ideal in winter.
