  Absolutely horrible and a waste of money do better

  Liked: Connivence

  Disliked: That it took them hours before check in to realize we had the wrong room. Then cancelled my second night and rebooked it making double the money and didn’t want to give me a refund. Our shower clogged so bad we had to fix it. And that’s absolutely disgusting

  The room where we stayed was not located in the main building of Nes Amsterdam; it had a separate entrance outdoors and

  Liked: The location was very good - easy to walk to many different places.

  Disliked: No coffee maker that was in working order. The large window facing the street was a collection spot outside for many people who stood and talked with each others for long periods of time at all times of the day and night. We could hear their conversations clearly. Annoying!

  Liked: Pleasant city downtown experience, interesting old building, standard breakfast, comfy bed. Very nice and helpful reception staff. Location is the key.

  Bad hotel night due to no soundproofing and uncomfortable room, poor value for money

  Liked: The hotel is centrally located. My room had a beautiful view and it was clean. There was a modest but good amount of breakfast options though coffee was not great.

  Disliked: Absolutely no soundproofing in this hotel! I could hear my neighbour talking on the phone (on the speaker), and I could hear every word they uttered — it was well past midnight. Then, when my neighbour came back from a party at 3:40, he slammed his doors and woke me up. In effect, I slept only two or three hours before an important work presentation the following day. To add to it, cheap mattress and pillow made sleeping even more uncomfortable. The decor in general is quite cheap. Shower has no curtain and therefore it spills everywhere. There was just one sad tea bag. No phone to call the reception. The breakfast staff was unfriendly. To sum it up, even considering the location, it is very poor value for money — I paid more than €200 for a single room per night. Not recommended
