  Classic atmospheric historic house hotel with all mod cons

  Liked: Classic period Amsterdam house hotel. Really makes you feel like you are in Amsterdam. The lower floor bedrooms are very spacious with very high ceilings and windows. Everything tastefully in keeping. Good quality comfy beds. Spotlessly clean. Cozy breakfast room with all day coffee machine and snacks. It’s on the tram route to Van Gogh museum from Central train station. Two minutes walk to Van Gogh museum, Rijkks museum, Stedeliyk, etc.

  Disliked: A very noisy fan in en-suite shower room. Small but adequate en-suite shower room. No lift but we swopped to a ground floor room.

  Liked: Location was great, especially for that price, and relatively good breakfast for an acceptable price. Staff was very friendly.

  Disliked: My room in the basement had small windows at the top, with barely any light coming in. Also, the bathroom had a damp smell which wasn't very pleasant.

  Excellent stay, had a brilliant time in a beautiful location!

  Liked: Lovely staff all the way through our stay. Helpful and even let us keep our bags at front desk until our room was ready. Thank you

  Disliked: Could have done with some facilities in the room for tea and coffee as it’s a bit highly priced in the lounge area at 2.50eur for a tea.

  Good middle-priced option to stay in beautiful Amsterdam

  Liked: Pleasant hotel is a historic building in the heart of Amsterdam, with steep stairs and high ceilings. Perfect location to the Museum Square and City Centre and various transportation

  Disliked: Room is a bit small. Price is rather high but it’s Amsterdam;)
