  Lovely hotel near the De Pijp area

  Liked: The room we booked was a studio apartment which was spacious and well designed. It comprised a good kitchenette with sink, fridge and microwave; a bedroom area; living area and good sized bathroom. The kitchenette was well stocked with utensils, a kettle, etc. The room was in a building behind the main heritage building and faced a mostly pedestrian area so was very quiet. There were large windows making the room bright and airy. The bed was large and super comfy. The location was great for exploring the De Pijp area with it's wonderful restaurants, bars and shops. The key museums are walkable or you can take a tram.

  Disliked: The kitchenette would be better if there was a small stovetop so that you could cook eggs, etc.

  Lovely hotel, friendly staff and a wonderful holiday. Would happily stay again!

  Liked: The hotel was lovely, clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was great. We really enjoyed our stay.

  Disliked: Nothing major to complain about. Everything was good and we had a pleasant experience.

  A comfortable, clean, quality hotel that is a bit out of the tourist center

  Liked: Historic. Riverfront views were nice. Comfortable beds. Lovely staff. Great breakfasts.

  Disliked: Decor drab- lots of brown walls and no art. Lack of lighting in rooms. No shops or restaurants in immediate neighborhood. Steep steps to access lobby, though you could push button and wait for help to access a separate street level entrance.

  Dated but comfortable

  Liked: The location was central enough.

  Disliked: I don’t believe that the hotel is 5 star. Amenities are very dated, for example they don’t have a Smart TV or USB ports on the Annex rooms. The room’s amenities were also not up to a 5 star standard.

  Lovely stay at a beautiful hotel

  Liked: Breakfast was nice, a decent choice of food.

  Disliked: The lighting could have been better in the room, very subtle low lighting is not helpful in the evening. Also there is a large step once you’re in the room, a sign outside the room would be helpful- we arrived at midnight, it was dark in the room- my daughter could have had a bad fall.
