  The hotel enjoys a perfect location, some improvements are necessary for a perfect guest experience

  Liked: The hotel is perfectly located, surrounded by water and set in a very peaceful area – ideal for a quiet and restful night's sleep. The rooms are tastefully decorated, combining modern design with a cosy atmosphere. Having a kitchen in the suite is also a great addition, making the stay even more comfortable and convenient.

  Disliked: The hotel needs to pay much closer attention to cleanliness and maintenance, particularly in the wellness and fitness areas. The sauna facilities require significant improvement: the door in the WC area was damaged and rusty, there was no soap available in the showers, and no cold showers were provided after using the sauna. More generally, the cleanliness of the sauna, swimming pool and fitness room was far below expectations. Greater attention to hygiene, regular cleaning and proper maintenance would significantly improve the overall guest experience. The second disappointment was the breakfast, which was definitely not worth the price paid. The selection consisted mainly of processed food, with very little in the way of fresh products and no freshly squeezed juices available. The salad did not appear particularly fresh and gave the impression of coming straight from a pre-packaged bag. The same applied to the cucumbers. The choice of fresh vegetables was also very limited. Considering the price charged for breakfast, I believe the hotel could and should offer a much better selection, with a greater emphasis on fresh, high-quality products. There is clearly room for improvement in this area.

  Quiet, clean, safe hotel with lovely views

  Liked: The Residence Inn was a lovely quiet, clean & spacious hotel located on the outskirts of the city. It was a 10-15 minute bus journey from Amsterdam Centraal on the 48 bus and the 48 bus stop was a 5 minute walk from the Hotel. Buses were regular and never felt too crowded. The hotel had beautiful views and we would totally recommend the corner suites. Breakfast was lovely - lots of simple options and very tasty. The hotel was very quiet and the beds comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

  Disliked: I wish you could have been able to turn of the room AC and another coffee machine at breakfast would have been good
