Good location helpful reception hospitality staff not highly motivated and would not revisit this hotel

Liked: Location was great close to train, bus and tram. Easy to get around! Resonse from reception next day after poor arrival was good. Was given meals and a drink to compensate.

Disliked: Arrival at midnight was perfunctory, room had not been cleaned, rubbish not emptied eating surfaces not cleaned, toilet not cleaned heating not working! Next day staff at reception tried to fix all of these things but we had to keep following things up. Also did not like the fact that the smoking area was right outside the main entry so you had to walk through groups of smokers to enter and leave thehotel

Liked: It was near public transportation.

Disliked: Not very many places to eat nearby. There was road construction for a few days during the stay

  COMFORTABLE & COVENIENT

Liked: Unlike most accommodation in Amsterdam, it was roomy, comfortable and staff happy to please. A 5-10 minute walk to central railway station and shops for everyday needs and right near canal cruise boats

Disliked: Delicious restaurant downstairs, a little pricey, limited menu however.

Liked: Roomy and lots of window

Disliked: They didn’t provide bottle water. They kind of force customers to drink tap water. The shower floor has stained.
