Liked: So central and so quiet. Bed extremely comfortable. As for an Amsterdam stay, really good value for money. Americans- (and one us was an American). It'll be different to what you may expect. If you want luxury, ( or more than a bedroom with a shower) at that price go to non touristic town. It is what It is. Cosy, clean, sweet, central. All the staff was the sweetest ever. Most of all, we felt safe, we felt taken care of.

Disliked: Honestly, for what we paid for, we were extremely happy with what we got. I cannot complain at all. As for a city like that, that was a wonderful surprise.

  Would consider staying again

Liked: Great location. Close to the train station and the town center. Walk out the front door and you’re there. Moe at the front desk was exceptional. Complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby was great.

  Disliked: All was good

Liked: The location of this hotel is exceptional if you're after a true Amsterdam experience with bars, cafes & the night-life pretty much at your doorstep. The room was small (they all are in the heart of Amsterdam) but big enough to fit 3 Aussie blokes (just). It was very clean and satisfied our needs if you're out exploring all day & half the night! But beware the steep stairs especially if you've seen a few bars & coffee shops. The staff were very helpful & carried our luggage up & down the stairs when we arrived & departed. Highly recommended!

Disliked: The stairs, but after talking to other travellers it seems like most places in central Amsterdam have the same problem & so dont discard this hotel because of stairs!
