    Nice House boat flair

Liked: Top friendly host. Excellent communication.

Disliked: Change the shower curtain to a door. (in my opinion)

Comfortable stay in a delightful location

Liked: Lovely location, within easy reach of the Centre of the City by tram or Uber. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Beds were very comfortable. Netflix was available to entertain us in the evening. Coffee and tea were available. Good shower and bathroom with plenty of hot water. There was a restaurant with good food nearby at a campsite (about 200 -300 metres)

Disliked: The bare wooden and relatively narrow walkway to the door of the accommodation was very slippery in the rain or when wet and did not have a guard rail on the water side of the walkway. There was a rail along the side of the boat, without which I might have been in the water a couple of times. Wouldn't recommend for the elderly or infirm.

We loved it and would happily come again

Liked: Just look at the pictures- it was like this! Very comfortable large bed. Good kitchen and sitting areas. One of the days the weather was wet cold and windy and we were very happy staying in and watching it! Bob was very responsive and friendly. Tram 26 was a short walk away and took us straight into Amsterdam central station within 10minutes. It was lovely to be in such a quiet secluded spot looking out at the water and still so accessible to things.

Disliked: It may be worth pointing out that this is a houseboat so there are some stairs to get down to the access which are a little steep if you did have mobility issues

Liked: First time visiting this part of Amsterdam and it was so nice that we didn't even bother going into the city centre. Josta and Bob are lovely people and attentive hosts, they've done a great job converting the front of their boat into this amazing apartment.

Absolutely Fantastic, Didn't Want to Leave!

Liked: Everything! So much better than staying in the centre of Amsterdam but really easy to get there and back on the tram. I'm a birder and it was fantastic sitting out on the deck watching all the Coots and Great Crested Grebes going about their business with the Ring Necked Parakeets flying around overhead. Also had a pair of Red Crested Pochard swimming around right outside the boat - a bird I've never seen before. We loved the place so much that my other half, who always insists on going out for drinks, preferred to just eat in with a few beers instead.

Disliked: I can't think of anything. Maybe bigger bath towels?
