Peace and quiet in Dutch countryside
Liked: Quiet location within easy reach of Delft, spacious and comfortable room, good breakfast with range of foods and excellent coffee. Also enjoyed watching the Bantam chickens nearby:) We've stayed here before for visiting friends in Delft and Maassluis and will no doubt be back again.
Disliked: Nothing, all good
A little heaven for a weary traveller
Liked: The hotel is a converted farmhouse with an additional restaurant that was a converted barn. All the food was local grown and extremely fresh. The surroundings are a series of agricultural reserves and manicured small farms. The experience was “otherworldly” in that it took you to old world holland, but with modern features and bike rentals to ride through along the canals, farm fields, and parks.
Liked: Lovely location and atmosphere, room with character, lovely gardens and setting. Easy to ride through picturesque countryside on bikes loaned from the hotel for a morning in Delft. We will be back:) Lovely dining room and great breakfast.
Disliked: Sachet coffee and breakfast teabags in the room (although there was a downstairs coffee station
Liked: fantastic location, took a morning walk in nature before breakfast. Great breakfast in a cozy room, nice room.
Liked: Nice location, surrounded by green, bike hire, lovely kitchen, great breakfast, friendly staff.
Disliked: Very steep and undeep stairs. Rooms are large and cosy but outdated.
