Wonderful cosy cog cabins for an Efteling trip!

Liked: Lovely and cosy log cabins with gas fires, well equipped kitchenette and accommodated our family of 4 very well. We were travelling with another family who had their own lodge and they kindly put us next to each other. There was a great playground out front but the weather wasn't very good so didn't get to enjoy it. On site restaurant was great and highly recommend also. Would definitely come back!

Disliked: Didn't realise we needed to bring our own towels but we were able to hire them from reception for a reasonable cost. There is only a combi microwave oven grill available so bear this in mind if self catering. There is no toaster but we managed to grill bread and croissants using the oven. Pizzas are not recommended unless you like them soggy. It also would have been great to have a hairdryer available but we dried off quickly in front of the fire.

Liked: The site is perfectly located, a few minutes driving from Efteling Park and right next to the dunes. For a family with young children, the separation between a living room and 2 different bedrooms really helped. It was clean and cozy.

Disliked: We read in advance that asking for towels requires an extra billing. However, we didn’t realise that shampoo is also not supplied and that the reception is entirely closed for a whole day during the staying, which caused a big delay in replying to our message. An extra cleaning fee was charged in advance, which we were not aware of, and breakfast was not offered even for an extra payment.
