Liked: The theming of the hotel and the rooms is marvellous. We liked the breakfast buffet. The elevators are rather too few in number resulting in long waits. The pool being off-site from the hotel and having limited hours is a real drag. The staff are incredible- warm, friendly, and helpful. Unfortunately the park is not great about publishing scheduled ride closures well in advance (ie. timeline for international travellers to be able to plan in advance). When we booked, there were no closures listed past August. Baron 1898- the ride that sold us on going to Efteling- ended up being closed for all of September and October. Alas! We enjoyed many other rides, and we will just have to come back to experience the Baron!

Liked: The staff at the property were super friendly, and really seemed to enjoy interacting with children. They took their time to help with queries you had and never made you feel rushed. Really great team, thank you once again for making our stay memorable. Breakfast was very good, only slight downside is that there was no toaster. The pillows were very high, and there weren't any flatter alternatives in the wardrobe. I asked the housekeeping team for a flatter pillow and they provided me with one.
