Not enough privacy, not a very relaxing stay

Liked: Location was great, the neighbourhood was nice and quiet. The room itself was nice and we liked the terrace.

Disliked: We didn't have as much privacy as we'd hoped. First of all, there's no key to the room. Second of all, the sliding door to the bathroom doesn't cover the entrance entirely, leaving gaps on both sides so if there was a person passing on the corridor they could see into the bathroom. This felt very uncomfortable and made me really stressed. The room would get really cold and the host only provided us with an additional electric heater the second night. The host was quite intrusive and patronising when talking to us and explaining how things around worked. To explain how the heater worked she came into our room, and just sat on the bed for a while and was quite insulting towards my partner at some point saying that he couldn't speak English if he wasn't understanding what she was saying when he just simply asked a question. She spent a good few minutes in the room when we were tired and just wanted to be left alone and relax. She once commented on my appearance and told me I looked pale - it just felt like we were being constantly watched, as if she was monitoring when we were leaving or coming back and we couldn't relax properly. She so did not trust we could use anything that when explaining how to use the microwave for the first time to my partner, she did everything for him and was touching his food, which he was not happy about. We were very uncomfortable and wanted to leave as quickly as possible.

    Definitely We´ll come back

Liked: The host is just amazing. So warm and welcoming. She woke up everyday to make us a delicious breakfast the time that were more suitable for us. The house is really well located in a quiet area. You can take the Tram to the Seaside Boulevard or the city center and even walk if you like that. The bathroom is super clean and you can use plenty of space. Also the room is big with a terrace where you can enjoy a tea or a coffee anytime. Super luminous and the bed is absolutely comfortable. Highly recommended if you visit Den Haag.

Had a marvelous time at The Hague, will definitely come back

Liked: This was a wonderful experience, Leonie is a super awesome and friendly host who wants to make her guests feel at home. Nice, clean and quiet bed and breakfast, the room has a spacious yet cozy roof terrace. The place is within spitting distance of the harbor and a 15 minute stroll away from the beach front. Definitely recommend this for couples and laid-back travelers looking for interaction with locals (as opposed to staying in an anonymous hotel).

Disliked: There is not a single thing to dislike about this place. Everything exceeded our expectations.
