  all in all great apartement and host

  Liked: The apartement is very big and clean. Next to the beach, so great for a holiday with shopping, sightseeing and relaxing at the beach. also good connection to central station the host was very friendly and asked if everything was okay, good communication, also our flight was late so we could store the luggage after the check out time, this helped us a lot and we were very thankful for it

  Disliked: The apartement is near a busy street, so it can be loud during the night. We knew that before the reservation and accepted it, for us it was the right choice, but you have to be aware of it.

  Perfect for us. Very relaxing and quiet property

  Liked: Self catering facilities were excellent. Plenty of crockery/cutlery and cooking utensils. Apartment was very roomy and clean. Sound proofing was excellent. Perfect location for the beach/town. The host met us on arrival. His english was very good and he explained all we needed to know about the property. The host was very friendly. We would stay here again.

  Disliked: Beds were hot; probably due to the (necessary) mattress protectors.

  It was very enjoyable

  Liked: The view of the sea every day brought me great joy. It was easy to get groceries and could walk everywhere. The beds were adjustable. The kitchen was well stocked. The living room allowed for some visitors.

  Disliked: We had no complaints. There was some noise from the construction next door but that could not be helped.

  Unless you need to be in Den Haag's centre, choose Scheveningen & Helena at Sea

  Liked: The location is perfect for direct access to the seafront and public transport into the centre of Den Haag. There are shops and many restaurants within very easy walking distance too. Seafront balcony and excellent soundproofing between flats on the same floor & above and below. All the facilities you need to self-cater, wash & tumble dry clothes so I can imagine staying for longer than the 5 nights we stayed for. Parking place in the garage below the building was a tremendous asset for off-road, secure parking.

  Disliked: The flat itself carries sounds between rooms & the bathroom/toilet - not a big deal for families though.
