  Great apartment in a quiet location that’s a short walk from the city centre

  Liked: Spacious, clean and modern.

  Disliked: Only problem was that there were no plug sockets bedside in the apartment I had, this made charging the phone which I use as an alarm clock difficult.

  Disliked: We experienced severe maintenance, health, and security issues throughout our stay, none of which were addressed despite reporting them early and being promised a technician on Sunday: ​Uninhabitable Bedrooms & Health Hazard: The thermostat is located upstairs and capped at 20°C, leaving the basement bedrooms unheated and freezing. Combined with no ventilation, heavy dampness/humidity caused me to fall ill. Additionally, an exposed, noisy machine in the bedroom was left with unfinished cabinetry instead of an acoustic enclosure. I was forced to sleep on the sofa upstairs. ​Security & Safety Risk: The lock on the terrace door does not function, leaving the apartment unsecure. ​Plumbing Leaks & Flooding: Severe clog in the shower drain caused the bathroom to flood during use; an active water leak is present at the guest toilet sink. ​Hygiene & Ventilation: Broken shower extractor fan resulting in visible mold on the bathroom ceiling; dirty walls throughout the property. ​Missing Amenities & Lighting: Multiple living room lights do not work; no kitchen towels were provided. ​Lack of Support: The administration promised a Sunday maintenance visit, no one showed up, and subsequent communications have been ignored. ​Due to the uninhabitable sleeping conditions, unaddressed security risks, and broken commitments, I am requesting a partial refund for this stay.

Good to know

Online Check-in Required: Before arrival, guests must complete the online check-in process. They will be asked for credit card information during this process. The information will be used to settle outstanding taxes and services if applicable. We no longer work with physical keys. Our guests can expect their digital keys by 3:00 PM on the day of check-in once the apartment is ready and online check-in fulfilled. To send you the digital keys, we need your correct email address and phone number. Please send us the right contact details as soon as possible. Check-in is at Westeinde 51, 2512GV, The Hague. Check-ins are contactless, meaning that there will be no reception or person to welcome the guests at the property. We encourage guests to ensure their mobile devices have enough battery and internet access to open the front door and apartment door with the digital keys.

We will be available until 6:00 PM to assist guests with practical matters and questions around their apartment and check-in.

Practical Information: Inside the apartment, our guests will find a blue book with the Stayci logo on the dining table. This book contains the Wi-Fi password, apartment details, and emergency contact numbers. We are available via email and phone for any questions.

For urgent issues after office hours, the emergency number is listed in the blue book, our WhatsApp (+31 65 135 32 54) response message, and if our guests call our direct number (+31 70 331 61 91), they will be forwarded to our emergency line.

Bed linens, 1 small and 1 large towel per guest, are provided.
