  Liked: The Dutch receptionist was forgiving and cute.

  Disliked: I didn't have a blanket on my bed and it was super cold.

  Liked: Save, private, safe and clean.

  Disliked: The bed has no curtains. You can see light if somebody turn on and hear if somebody walks and snores, but it is for many people so it is nothing to do.

  Liked: Very good location next to the Neude square. Very central to all the main attractions in Utrecht. Short walk from the train station to the hostel. We had a private room with a private bathroom (comfort room). This hotel functions more as a hotel than a traditional hostel, but there are shared dorms and family rooms. No central kitchen but did have a restaurant on site. We enjoyed our stay.

  Liked: It's clean, the staff is super friendly and helpful and the guests know how to make a Hostel experience worthwhile. It's very central, and the design is beautifully outdated.

  Disliked: It's too expensive for what it does. This should cost at least 30 Euros less per night. Also, what comes with the good location: noise outside all night long.

  Excellent value for money, outstanding staff

  Liked: Staff was super friendly, especialy in the restaurant, always proactively helping with any questions I had, and I talked to at least like 6 different people. Huge plus. Also nice location, about 10 min walk from centraal station only. Breakfast for 10.50 is decent value as well.

  Disliked: I can only mention slight disadvantages, but I just detail these to give some real honest feedback for travellers, its excellent overall. Some parts of the room could have been a bit cleaner, but thats only the parts that are not actively used of course. One tiny bit drawback is a lack of kitchen. Although there is an area on the first floor where they have a microwave and some chillout area too, but no option to cook, and also if you wanna eat warm food you have to bring your cutlery - which the restaurant gives you for free though, but still some hassle to carry it around. Also no kettle outside, so if you want to boil wwter for tea, have to ask in their restaurant, which closes at 11pm. The room layout is a little odd for me in terms of the sink being directly in the room, so whenever someone washes their hands or brushes teeth its quite noisy.

AGE RESTICTIONS

Guests are requested to inform the property when children are coming along. Guests under the age of 18 can only stay in private room and must be accompanied by an adult (18+).

Guests aged 16 or 17 may also stay in a private room without being in the company of an adult, provided they can present a filled in consent form by their caretakers upon arrival at the hostel. Please send the hostel an email for the consent form.

ROOMS

Please note when booking a Double/Twin Room, it is possible that you will be staying in a 4 to 6 bed dorm. The remaining (bunk) beds will not be available for other guests.

Please note that all rooms are different. Not every room has an outside view. Specified preferences are subject to availability only.

AMENITIES

Please note that the beds are not made, except for Comfort Double Rooms, but bed linen will be provided and guests are required to make their own bed upon arrival.

Towels are only included in Comfort Double Rooms and Family Rooms. Guests can bring their own towels or rent them at a surcharge of EUR 3.50 per towel.

GROUP TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Reservations (1 or more reservations under the same name) for 21 people or more per night are considered a group reservation

and different conditions apply.

MAXIMUM LENGTH OF STAY

Maximum length of stay is 7 nights. This also applies to multiple reservations totaling more than 7 nights.

CASHLESS

This is a cashless accommodations. You can pay contactless and with all major bank and credit cards. It is not possible to pay with cash in our accommodations.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.

Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.
