Sound property to stay at
Liked: Situated in a quiet location 10 mins walk from Volderdam which has lovely restaurants. The owner was a lovely guy who explained everything in perfect English. There is actually a music studio on site but you can’t hear it. Lovely room very comfortable and clean with air conditioning. Good breakfast. Parking on site
Disliked: Nothing
Liked: Patrick the owner was very friendly and was able to recommend restaurants and cafes to eat in nearby. The location of the Guesthouse was excellent for walking to Volendam and Edam. The room was lovely with a comfortable bed and a good communal area for preparing meals and relaxing in. We travel by motorcycle and there was a safe parking area within his grounds
We enjoyed visiting Volendam and Edam which were quite different. The studio is in between the two places
Liked: Great host, Patrick told us about his and his father’s careers in the Dutch music industry.
Disliked: Probably more ideal for those with a car. Our visit on the way home to the airport after staying with family was by train and bus. The 316 bus between Edam and Amsterdam Central was however quite convenient with only a 12 minute walk to the studio (Grot Ven stop).
Liked: Patrick was amazing. You are always a little anxious when you arrive. He made us feel at home. The atmosphere, background music, breakfast........ect. was top shelf. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Quiet, comfortable, clean stay within easy walk of town centre
Liked: Great location - just a short walk to the main town centre. Room was quiet, clean and comfortable. Bed was nice and comfortable. Patrick went out of his way to make sure all guests were looked after with plenty of breakfast choices.
Disliked: Nothing to raise - it was a great experience.
