Lovely spacious apartment in a peaceful town
Liked: Really peaceful apartment, right in the middle of a beautiful town with great public transport into Amsterdam. The apartment was spacious, and clean, had a very comfortable bed and all the equipment we could have asked for. Highly recommended.
Disliked: Nothing. It was great!
Liked: This apartment is as it looks in picture, large space, high ceilings and beautifully decorated. East self-entry instructions, the hosts were very helpful and responsive. The location is perfect, just a short walk from Edam Bus Station and 2min walk to the Edam Cheese Museum. The bed were comfortable and the whole place had great ambience. My daughter and enjoyed our stay. Also the locals are very friendly.
Disliked: Just a few practical thibgs were overcooked. There was no full length mirror, no hand wash in the bathroom, no oven in the kitchen. Normally in places like this including Airbnb, the host leaves a "welcome pack" with a few items for the guests in case they arrive late when all the shops are closed, which was the case for us. Items like, biscuits or some fruit would have helped.

Liked: It was really great to stay at this top floor appartment! Beautiful architectural details and decoration. We had all the comforts to spend a week there. And Edam is such a beatiful village! Really easy to get to central Amsterdam. We had a great time and we hope to come back one day!

Liked: Beautiful spacious apartment in a very pretty small town - it was so nice to have somewhere quiet and peaceful to come back to. Getting the bus in and out of Amsterdam was straightforward, and there were night buses too, except Sunday night when the last bus was at 1am. Picking up the keys was easy too - we were given a combination code for a key box, so we were free to arrive in our own time. The beds were soft and comfy. There's a supermarket 10 minutes walk away and a couple of bars and gift shops right outside.
Disliked: I've no complaints at all, there's nothing not to like about this place.
Had an amazing time staying at the Top Floor Edam!
Liked: We liked everything, it was a super stay! The top floor apartment was very clean and had everything we needed to cook. The location is perfect. It was quite easy to get in/out of the building and we never noticed any noise from nearby. Finally, the host was amazing with their fast and polite communication with us via message. I can’t wait to visit Edam again with this accommodation:)
Disliked: Fixing the windows so we could have opened them and made the place cooler. It was very hot the week we stayed and that made it a bit uncomfortable. Also clear instruction about what to do with rubbish, even some written instructions would be helpful. Oh and an iron would be really helpful haha I wanted to iron a dress but couldn’t - that’s okay.
