Very good
Not expensive but at a cost
Liked: The location is in a newly constructed, upper-class district in Aveiro. Normally, flats are 30-40 Eur/night more expensive in this area. The modern design/decoration of the flat is interesting and has some well-thought solutions for size and natural light optimisation.
Disliked: As many other customers pointed out, for years now, the flat is in need of a good refurbishment. In fact, it is very odd to continue seeing the same-old, very used up toilet seat (my kids simply refused to use it) and other easily corrected faults such as a broken bedside table leg.
Unique apartment in a quiet location away from the centre of town
Liked: The design of the apartment is certainly unique though the large office/study upstairs seems a bit of a waste of space for holiday accommodation. The location was good if you wanted to be away from the hustle and bustle of the centre which we did. There's a good restaurant just a one minute walk away, a pastelaria across the road, and the best thing for us was the garage parking. There's lots of storage for clothing/suitcases etc. You didn't feel cramped as all the rooms are a good size though the kitchen is relatively small when comparing it to the rest of the apartment.
Disliked: The apartment needs a little attention. The toilet seat upstairs definitely needs replacing. The pump on the hand soap dispenser didn´t work so if you used the bathroom upstairs you had to remove the pump or go downstairs to wash your hands. The freezer was heavily iced up so when you opened it chunks of ice fell out. There were a number of small things which were a bit annoying and take little effort to rectify.
Great place but not when the AC does not work
Liked: Clean, nicely decorated, all that is required to have meals, comfortable bed, Nespresso machine and some capsules.
Disliked: Air conditioning not working. This wouldn't matter much but the accommodation did had enough windows to make it pleaseant. TV remote did not work very well. Light switchs were a bit confusing.

Great design, be careful of the mould
Liked: Lovely design, good use of glass walls to disperse the lack of natural light. Loads of space.
Disliked: There's quite a significant problem with mould, on the front upstairs window frames and in the bathroom, so if you're sensitive to that, I'd recommeed you avoid. Also, there's a microwave and a hob for cooking, but no oven that I could find, which was unusual. Perhaps I missed it, as there does seem to be a few things hidden away! Also, several people have mentioned the toilet seat in reviews, and it's the easiest thing in the world to fix, so I'd really recommend you do.

Disliked: Noisy plastic strip that can be removed from the ground on glass floor
