  Lovely hotel, almost perfect!

Liked: The highlight of this hotel was definitely the linen, super soft large towels and bedding. Huge comfortable bed. Fabulous location. Great breakfast. Spotlessly clean. Helpful and friendly reception staff.

Disliked: Small details let this hotel down considering its 4 star rating. Although a kettle & cups were provided in the room, tea bags and coffee had to be purchased from the bar downstairs which was not ideal. No mini bar, just a fridge. Bathroom was a little tired and we had a leak on our sink, which we reported but wasn’t fixed during our 3 day stay. Nice small spa area in the hotel, but to use it you had to book in advance and pay extra for a 2 hour slot and the jacuzzi was a little worn out with all the buttons falling off 🤣

  Immaculate hotel

Liked: Fabulous room including balcony with outdoor bed and hot tub! Immaculately clean. Great staff, fab breakfast. Secure motorcycle parking. 1 minute walk to castle and 2 minute walk into old town. Fab restaurants along the river, loads of choice.
