Fabulous
Ideal location,comfortable rooms and very nice restaurant for dinner and breakfast
Liked: Central location,good restaurant,comfortable room and impressive building.
Disliked: Nothing,everything was excellent.
Liked: It is a beautiful, historical property and is lovingly and exceptionally maintained. It is an exceptional mix of history with all modern amenities. It is only a 5 minute walk to the center of the town. The breakfast was of very good quality, a vast spread. Overall, a wonderful experience.
Comfortable, relaxing hotel in a great location close to the old town
Liked: Lots of indoor and outdoor space to relax. We were there two nights and didn’t see it all. All the public areas are immaculate and very clean. The restaurant is light and spacious and serves a very good breakfast. Lots of parking but the uneven cobbles and cambers can make it tricky to manoeuvre a heavy motorcycle. The staff were very helpful and dealt with issues and requests quickly.
Disliked: I stayed in room 12 which was at the end of the attic corridor and had a sloping ceiling on three sides. This made the room feel very small, especially the bathroom which was awkward to move around in.

Liked: This is my 2nd stay at the Fort in Chaves. Plenty of free parking,easy walk into town. Buffet breakfast was very good. We would stay here again
