  A very comfortable stay in a perfect location

  Liked: The location was excellent for visiting the university and the old town.

  Disliked: Being in the university precinct it was extremely noisy until about 2 in the morning. It was exam time and we thought the students living in the area would study rather than socializing! The bathrooms could do with some upgrades.

  Great location, very close to uni in the middle of the old town

  Liked: Great location, lots of light and plenty of space inside, rooftop terrace a bonus.

  Disliked: A pity the washing machine wasn’t available for use.

  Great apartment in Coimbra

  Liked: Great top floor, two bedroom, two bathroom apartment. Has a nice deck and rooftop seating area with a great view. Set your navigation to Mercado Municipal D Pedro V on Rua Olimpio Nicolau. This is at the base of the hill and several steep and narrow roads will get you there. Leaving is much easier. Parking around the building is free and was available as this is an out of the way corner area with no natural traffic flow. Host was great and very helpful' Location is very close to the old cathedral, which is worth a visit. Food and corner store next to the cathedral. Lots more as you head downhill from there. University just above.
