Very good
Very memorable and will stay again when ai return
Liked: Fantastic location, light and bright, very well appointed. Incredible value. Th room was right above the most active street. Which, when you open the double doors and sit on your patio, feels you are part of the energy. Close the doors and perfectly quiet. Beds very comfortable and the small kitchenette had everything you would need to cook meals if you wished.
Disliked: Parking was a bit difficult. You will need to contact the managers to open and close the gate.
Liked: Lovely comfortable room in very central location. I would stay here again.

Liked: It was in a very convenient location. The room was nice.
Disliked: Unfortunately there was a rest Val on during our stay so it was quite loud during the night.
Coimbra stay
Liked: The location was great in the old town. The room was great with a fridge & facilties to eat in if you wanted.
Disliked: I had some difficulty with getting into the room but the staff were very helpful.
One of the best experiences we have had in Portugal. Would gladly stay here again if we come back to Coimbra
Liked: Fantastic location. Great value for money. Exceptional contemporary renovation of an old building. Made simple by log in codes for the building and room so no need for keys

Convenient but no good sleep
Liked: The staff were excellent. The cleaning ladies do a wonderful job, and the lady managing the property online allowed me to leave my luggage in the store room before check in and after check out. The location is also great. There is a 2-minute walk on the pedestrian street from where taxis or Ubers can park, but it’s flat (which means no climbing with luggage).
Disliked: The noise. The owner bought the entire building and operates it essentially as a >15 room hotel, but was too cheap to invest in proper soundproofing or proper lock/password system. 1.You hear it when anyone of your neighbors key in their passwords (often multiple times), and the loud “thank you” or “authentication failed”. The system was set up to be super loud, loud enough for a 90-year old hard of hearing to hear it. This happens at 6am (when some guests get out) and 11pm (when some people get back from dinner). 2.You also hear all the hallway noises, for example big family groups coming back from dinner at 11pm with kids running and everyone talking loudly. 3.You hear the neighbors upstairs do simple things like walking because the wood floors squeak and have no sound proofing.
