Highly recommend. Extremely helpful staff
Liked: Great value. Great location. Very close to beach and main restaurant area but not too noisy. Basic but not old. Very clean. The staff was really outstanding and helped me with a problem that they really didn’t have to.
Modern, comfy, great location!
Liked: The hotel has been renovated inside to a high standard, the rooms are gorgeous! It was all really clean and having the breakfast included was a bonus. Breakfast is cereals, bread/toast, fruit, coffee. It's really well located on the main street to explore Ericeira but at a quiet end.
Disliked: The hotel looks shabby from the outside. The shower had a window in it! We were concerned at first this could be overlooked and my friend wore her swimsuit, but it looks into an internal space that I don't think anyone can access, and it helps bring in natural light.
Felt a bit like a retirement home
Liked: The location is great, right on the main street, close to restaurants, cafés and a walking distance from a couple of beaches. The staff provided a fan when I asked for one, as it was quite hot in the room and there's no AC.
Disliked: The whole place feels a bit like a retirement home. There was an elderly man on the reception couch every evening watching football on his phone at a really high volume. I didn't manage to understand whether he works there, as he didn't even reply when I greeted him. The breakfast is very basic – cheese, ham, bread, boiled eggs and some orange slices. It would be great to have some vegetables or a couple of other things to choose from. My room was facing the street on the first floor, which meant that it was quite noisy and I couldn't even properly open the windows, as people and cars were passing by. The room is extremely basic, with an old, not very comfortable spring mattress bed and extremely bright ceiling lamp, with no other light options, as far as I can remember. There are not even mosquito nets on the windows. At half the price this would have been barely passable.
Great place for a good price and help full owner
Liked: Nice room, great place and food market around the corner.
Disliked: A bit noicy at night, but brought my ear plugs.
Nice, clean room very close to centre of town
Liked: It was so central to the centre of town and also a short walk to the sea. Staff were helpful and friendly. Room was clean and they offered cleaning every day too.
Disliked: No hairdryer in the rooms but you can get one from reception if you need one.
Good stay but don’t include breakfast buffet
Liked: Located at the central location of Ericeira. Just 2 minutes walk to beach.
Disliked: Breakfast was very minimalist.
