Very good
HI EVORA HOSTEL HOTEL
Liked: Comfortable, budget friendly hotel. Great location in the heart of EVORA. Very narrow streets so driving around can be a challenge with a lot of one way streets and limited parking. Very helpful front desk staff and lovely lady in charge of morning breakfast. Steps outside to many cafes and eating spots. RUIs cafe directly in front of hotel was nice social spot for a cold one and friendly chit chat.
Disliked: Only issue was finding secure parking nearby. And steps into bathroom but doubt all rooms are like ours.
Liked: Everything was as expected for this price range.
Disliked: Bathroom lighting was dim, specifically the shower area.
Good for the money
An Okay Stay with Some Issues
Disliked: We stayed for two nights. On the second night, we unfortunately found a cockroach in the bathroom. The issue was handled quickly and professionally by the receptionist, who apologized and immediately moved us to a new room, assuring us it was a very unusual occurrence. Overall, the stay was okay. The hostel has a youthful vibe, but the rooms are quite dated and the furniture feels cheap and easily movable. Cleanliness was acceptable but could be improved, as the room did not feel thoroughly cleaned. This hostel is fine if you’re looking for a budget-friendly stay and don’t mind very basic accommodations, but it may not suit those expecting higher standards.
Great potential, needs some improvement
Liked: The position. The place was super clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful when I had a problem with my shower and they proceeded immediately with giving me another room.
Disliked: The furnishing is quite basic and old and could use a refreshing also because the rooms are bigger than average. Water pressure wasn't the best either.
