  Amazing staff, excellent location

Liked: Great location in the heart of town. Walking distance to pretty much all to see, do, drink and eat. Beautiful courtyard and balcony off the room that both have stunning views of the green hills. I cannot stress enough how incredibly friendly, helpful and great the staff were. The manager sat with us and it was a great conversation as his knowledge of the town and island were top notch.

Disliked: Rooms are small and basic. Wifi isn't great. Breakfast was just ok. Too expensive for a 2 star hotel.

  Very poor

Liked: Very helpful front desk staff

Disliked: Air con did not work so very hot and humid. On a busy thoroughfare so noisy with windows open. Difficult to get any sleep. Restaurant closed. Breakfast meagre. Room not serviced. Not very clean. Whole place felt mothballed pending a renovation. Very expensive for what it is. By far worst hotel of 3 week Azores trip.
