Good
Liked: Barbara was a very good staff member and explained why things did nt work and helped us for the next stay- we are locals and wanted to come back.
Disliked: That the other staff members Lied to us. They knew that the whole Wellness area was closed and oretended it was just the indoor swimming pool. The Light did nt work at first before someone came,, the Windows was Cracked and we did Nr the room we have booked. We asked for another room and they said there were fully booked. I looked in booking, there were 2 rioms left- also the one we originally booked and payed for.
A lovely unusual place, looking forward to our 3rd visit
Liked: Very good selection, lovely food
Disliked: This was our 2nd visit, with family from Canada this time. We live 40 mins away from Monchique in Burgau. We stayed in the hotel up the road the first time. We really love the outdoor pool area. It’s very unique with lovely grounds. We are vegetarian and find the choice of vegetarian meals very small. We also had a water leak in the bathroom! We look forward to our next visit 🌞
Good, but so much unused potential… Confusing property
Liked: Wonderful pristine location, great complex with lots to do, good cleanliness level, tasty and varied breakfast in beautiful space, good AC and complimentary water in room, beautiful lobby and common spaces
Disliked: Poor maintenance with some things looking/working great while others not so much… Plenty of negligence. Average service, impossibility of later check-out even at an extra cost. Thermal spa, which even for guests has EXTRA fee to enter to the pools. Plenty of construction everywhere. Some bars, lounges and venues closed. Very confusing and uneven experience.
Liked: The room was very big and comfortable! The hotel is in an amazing place.
Disliked: The pool installations were quite old, and the room was make up very late.
Liked: Staff ia friendly and helpful.
Peaceful
Liked: Beautiful enetgy. So peaceful
