  A fabulous villa in the woods

  Liked: A fabulous villa in the woods, with beautiful rooms, an amazing garden, and a pool. With professional staff, a delicious breakfast, and a fantastic view. We had a wonderful time there—we’d go back anytime!

  Friendly, boutique hotel in a stunning location

  Liked: Beautiful, welcoming, peaceful hotel in a stunning location. Loved the view from our very large terrace. There are so many 'chill out' areas around the grounds of the hotel, you can enjoy privacy or be more sociable! Excellent, friendly staff who are knowledgeable and passionate about the hotel and this beautiful part of Portugal. Great honesty bar system so lack of bar not an issue. Very tasty breakfast with amazing views from the terrace. Two restaurants a 20 minute walk (uphill) from the hotel.

  Disliked: The rooms close to reception can experience some noise in the morning.
