  Very nice hotel in quiet and green region. If you want to have relaxing and calm days off, it is the place to choose

  Liked: Friendly staff, clean room, easy access to amenities, free parking by the hotel.

  Disliked: Overall hotel needs renovation: in some places the wallpaper is peeling off and floor is swollen due to high moisture.

  It was our anniversary and we left early. So disappointed in our big night out

  Liked: The location is fabulous. The front desk staff are lovely.

  Disliked: Breakfast, like dinner the night before, was disappointing: cold food and slow service.

  Very chilled short stay

  Liked: Lovely rooms, quiet chilled location, outdoor spring water pools are great and garden areas very nice. Breakfast is good at 1692 restaurant. Quiet village location in the hills. Local bar with some snacks. Very chilled location and plenty of stunning views, trees, and birdsong. Very good Internet coverage. The resort hotel we stayed in had some very good rooms with great views of the mountains. We went for 2 nights for the peace and quiet, and we got exactly that. We had an upgrade to get a balcony with a view.

  Disliked: Restaurant 1692 dinner was really poor. The staff are great and the service was good. The food was poor. Breakfast is good and has plenty of choice. The resort is lacking a good restaurant and other meal options. Good local bar but with limited snacks. Some areas are looking a little tired and run down.

  Liked: Location was good, we went there same time last year. The staff were polite and efficient, but minimal.

  Disliked: The part of the hotel we stayed at last year was more or less closed apart from our room and we weren't aware of this till we arrived. We were on the first floor but the ground floor was flooded and we had to wade to get to the lift.Also it was all very poorly lit,so my wife and I had trouble even putting the key in the slot. I feel as there was no one there apart from us in that part of the hotel, it should have been closed. I think we should have a refund as for a 5 star hotel it was well below standard.
