Exceptional
Great get away location very close to Monsaraz and historic sites
Liked: Great for a get away to Monsaraz without having to be in the town. Great megalithic site’s within walking distance. Great for dogs because there are so many remote roads to explore without worrying about meeting too many people. We were a little disappointed that the patio room was not available, but overall great place to stay.
Nice little house and enjoyed staying in the village but it was a bit noisy with dogs barking
Liked: Beautifully renovated house in a nice village.
Disliked: Very noisy dogs and parrot in the area. The lady who gave us the keys still had to make up the beds and clean when we got there (and we did not try and check in early)
It was adequate but wouldn’t stay here again
Liked: It’s sweet and very cozy and it’s got good options for quick walks into the countryside.
Disliked: It’s very small and a bit claustrophobic and hard for tall people to comfortably navigate the doorways. It was very cold in November and the wall heaters did not give off adequate heat. The kitchen equipment was not great - cooking pans were very beat up and not safe to use.

Very good
Liked: Very comfortable beds and clean white linen. Tea and coffee and herbs and spices all available. Owners deserve praise for making profitable house with low cost but nice design interior. Has all the facilities required for family except washer and a drier.
Disliked: Lounge dark like dungeon, water heater volume for family on the small size. Door locks external not working. There is a huge German shepherd next door that barks real loud when you come and go.
