  Peaceful Place in Porto

  Liked: We loved the helpful staff, especially Hannah. They were so helpful and friendly. They will pack and deliver breakfast if you are leaving early. The breakfast was lovely and the surprising outdoor area and pool in the heart of the city was a plus. Our villa was very contemporary and thoughtfully designed. There are lots of storage cabinets. Great coffee-maker. We loved the thoughtful check-in touches of fresh milk for coffee and fresh popcorn. We also loved having a washer/dryer combo. Check out the vinyl record store Louie Louie across the street!

  Disliked: Our villa was well-designed but felt a tad tight - like living on a boat. While we had lots of storage cubbies, the hanging closet was tiny. The kitchen was functional but had a small fridge and no freezer. The fan vented into the cabinet.

  Staff were amazing, room

  Liked: Booked a room last minute due to another apartment having to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances and the staff were so accommodating including ensuring all facilities for our baby were set up including a cot, calming music, baby bath and toys! Hotel room was modern and very clean. Breakfast was also very fresh and delicious.

  We absolutely loved our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return. Highly recommended!

  Liked: We stayed at Canto de Luz with our two children and had the most wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and so accommodating with the children, which made us feel completely at home. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean, the breakfast was lovely, and the little pool was perfect for cooling off after exploring Porto. The whole hotel is beautifully and tastefully decorated, it really feels like a hidden oasis in the city. We absolutely loved our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return. Highly recommended!

  A brilliant hotel tainted by the checking process and excessive road noise very early on Friday morning

  Liked: The staff were great and the location for the city centre was good. The breakfasts were just right for the type of stay. The room was well equipped and nicely appointed with loads of light.

  Disliked: Unfortunately there was a serious mishap at check in which would have meant we were locked out of the hotel until the following morning. The emergency contact number did not work as it should have.
