Liked: Location, caring and helpful staff, great breakfast, new bathroom
Disliked: Slightly nicer sheets would be good
Liked: Comfortable bed. Easy street and metro access. Nice bars and restaurants nearby. Clean, cozy, minimalist, modern design.
Disliked: Small room, difficult for 2 people to freely come around and put clothes if you have plenty.

Very comfortable stay in the historical part of the city
Liked: The staff were all extremely welcoming and friendly with great English and local knowledge. Breakfast was great. My room at the back of the hotel was extremely quiet and comfortable. Shower was great and a REAL hairdryer rather than the usual useless hotel hairdryer.

Disliked: No view. we were locked out of our room for a while because the battery was dead on the door keypad and we couldn’t use the key to get into our room. This was a problem.
CAN’T WAIT TO COME BACK TO PORTO AND WON’T STAY ANYWHERE ELSE
Liked: EXCEPTIONAL HOTEL! The staff with SOPHIA in particular were extraordinarily helpful. It’s in an outstanding area walkable to everywhere I wanted to go. I walk A LOT (did over 8 miles one day in a city with a LOT of hills) so only used public transport to go north of the city to a suggested restaurant. The rooms are spotless and the bed was extremely comfortable. The breakfast buffet was better than NEARLY any buffet I’ve had in the US. Stop reading other hotels reviews and book this property!!!
Disliked: There is nothing to improve upon. My bathroom had a light bulb burned out and I let Sophia know in the morning, and when I returned that evening the bulb had been replaced and I had excellent bathroom lighting. Maybe this is something they put on houeskeeping’s list to check when cleaning the rooms.
