  Extremely Disappointing Experience – Avoid Booking This Hotel

  Disliked: I booked this hotel for our trip to Porto approximately two months in advance and paid the full amount upfront. Despite contacting the hotel during the week of our stay, we were only informed by email on the morning of our flight that our booking had been cancelled. This was completely unacceptable and left us in an extremely stressful and difficult situation. With only hours before our departure, we were forced to scramble to find alternative accommodation at the last minute, resulting in significant additional expenses and financial pressure. To make matters worse, when I contacted the hotel by phone to seek an explanation, the hotel manager was rude, dismissive and extremely unhelpful. There was no genuine concern shown for the inconvenience or financial difficulties their last-minute cancellation had caused. What was supposed to be an enjoyable and relaxing holiday was instead overshadowed by unnecessary stress, worry and financial strain, all because the hotel failed to honour a booking that had been made and paid for well in advance. I would strongly advise anyone considering staying here to think twice. Based on our experience, a confirmed and fully paid booking offers no guarantee that your accommodation will actually be available. The lack of professionalism, poor communication and complete disregard for guests were deeply disappointing. I certainly would never book with this hotel again and would not recommend it to anyone.

  A breathtaking heritage stay ✨

  Liked: the heritage behind this hotel is astounding, and they’ve done an amazing job preserving it. the staff give you a tour on arrival and explain the history, which was such a lovely touch. beautiful facilities, lovely staff and a breathtaking room!! we genuinely didn’t want to leave. the bed was so comfortable, with electronic lights and curtains, gorgeous cove lighting and a stunning plant display. absolutely amazing stay!!

  Perfection,one of the best hotels I have been too

  Liked: Everything.The staff were so friendly and helpful.We arrived very late and they upgraded us to a lovely room breakfast was amazing and tasty with à la carte and buffet service. The indoor pool with the steam room and sauna was a dream after walking all day around the city The outdoor pool was also lovely Well done,I would recommend this great hotel to everyone.Also fab location on a great shopping street with bars and restaurants
