  Staff was so nice. Comfortable and great location. Would definitely come back

  Liked: The location was perfect. Very spacious. Loved the food for breakfast.

  Disliked: No water for breakfast unless we paid 3 euros. Not enough coffee pods.

  We loved the location and the room!

  Liked: The location was terrific; we loved the bar and the market across the street and the shopping nearby. The apartment was clean and comfortable and easy for check in and check out.

  Great stay, would rent here again, now that I know how to work the door codes and keys

  Liked: Once we got into the room it was fine, but it took a while to get ahold of the right person to help with the codes.

  Disliked: This was the only part of the stay that was a bit frustrating, the codes didn't work, and it wasn't clear who to contact to get a more immediate response. given that we were arriving later in the evening, we really wanted this to go much smoother. Good lesson is to leave more time and have some patience, but this could have gone much smoother.

  Great location, tastefully decorated and good facilities

  Liked: Great location; near the river, plenty of cafes, restaurants, shops & some attractions, e.g old stock exchange. Good facilities, comfortable seating area, dining table, good sized bathroom. Owner easy to contact and responsive.

  Disliked: The bedrooms are at the front and there was some noise from the street.

  Great location but everything else was mediocre

  Liked: The location was excellent

  Disliked: The bed was so hard and pillows were terrible..You might get a couple minutes of hot water but it was really just warm or luke warm most of the time

  Beautiful studio in the heart of town with great amenities

  Liked: Easy communication with host Barbara, who was very kind, waited for my arrival, let me in, and explained all the facilities. It's one of the best-equipped studios I have stayed in, with a compact but functional kitchen, all the kitchenware needed for 4 guests, and appliances, a lovely sunny balcony for a morning coffee, (I appreciated the Nespresso machine and capsules) a comfortable bathroom, tasteful design and a very central location. I would definitely stay here again if I'm in town again.

  Disliked: It was somehow confusing to receive two different messages from the hotel, one saying that I can choose which card I will use for the security deposit upon arrival, then a second one when I noticed that it was charged on the card I used for the room fee, despite I intended to use a different card only for the deposit. Anyhow, it was freed on the same day I checked out.

Please note that for stays of 5 nights or more, the apartments are cleaned and linen is changed every 3 days.

Please note that the amount of the reservation is charged on the day of arrival. Casas do Porto will contact guests with further details. The property may ask a deposit of 50% of the total amount to secure the reservation.

Please note that Casas do Porto does not have an open reception and neither the team lives on the building, so it's imperative that guests contact the property prior to their arrival (preferable 1 week before). Use the contacts on the page for that, this way they can easily program a time to be there expecting you, by the time of your arrival. The absence of contact or reply from the guest may result in the cancelation of the reservation.

At the end of the stay, the apartment must be delivered in reasonable clean conditions. If this condition is not verified, an additional cleaning fee of 50 € per apartment may be charged.

Also upon arrival, you must pay the Municipal Tourist Tax 3 €/person/night, this can be paid in cash.

Please note that only for stays of 5 nights or more, the apartments are cleaned and bed linen changed every 3 days.
