  Liked: Very spacious and clean apartment situated in a peacefull and beautiful area of Porto. Luis arranged for us to leave our luggage in a safe area when we arrived early. He then took it to the apartment for us while we were in town.

  Disliked: We suggest adding a breadknife, grater and a pair of scissors to the inventory. The front door slides with effort and is very heavy. The bathroom door handle is broken and the shower curtain could be more robust. The parking is limited to 4 hours during the day in that area. This could have been communicated better when I asked, as it would have influenced my car rental options.

  Liked: Really comfy beds, lovely bright flat and in a great location close to shops, cafes, beach and easy to get bus and tram into porto centre. Communication from host was excellent with lots of helpful information.

  Disliked: Hadn't realised there was no oven but wasnt a problem once we knew as there is a good hob and microwave. Cheese grater would have been good

  Liked: Style of the flat (historical house), nice location, easy communication regarding the check-in and check-out.

  Disliked: The cleaning could be better - when we arrived there were dirty dishes in the dishwasher and some rubbish under the sofa. But apart of that, the flat was clean and cozy.

  Disliked: The communication with the landlord was unsatisfactory. We had an issue starting the cooking hob and never received an answer how to do it. However, we would not hold that against him if there has not been the situation that we needed to go to the police station to report a damage to our car and even though he answered the call we could not get him to send us not even the street name where the police was let alone the exact location. If you are a foreigner, please know that it is highly likely that you car will get trashed and anything of value stolen. Even the police commented that it has become an unsolvable issue for them. Car was parked right under the window of the apartment on a lit street in a paid parking space. Everything that has been visible in the car was left in it. We were not the only foreigners at the police station with the same issue. The advice is, if you go to Porto, do not regret the cost of a guarded parking.

  Spacious home, great host

  Liked: We were staying here when the blackout occurred, the property owner came in person to help us with everything. He was very friendly! Otherwise the apartment is spacious, location is great (with a market on Sunday mornings), and a bus that goes directly in the city center.
