  Liked: The hotel is beautiful, all communal areas have really nice decor & design to compliment the original building. Our room was gorgeous, again lovely dedign, bed was so comfortable & very quiet at night meaning sleep was good. We also had a shared kitchen in the basement & outdoor decked garden area which were great. Breakfast was fantastic, fresh fruit, pastries, breads etc. The chef was excellent, he cooked each hot dish perfectly. Finally, the staff were so friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend the hotel for couples, solo & families.

  Great breakfast, quiet cool location

  Disliked: We was upgraded without being asked or told, this ment being put in the larger apartment yes, but in a completely different building with none of the charm I’d expected. I had booked a Superior Double which stated access and views of a garden and balcony, we had neither. I was really confused because the pictures and property description was so different to what we had been given. It was only after I inquired the next day I was told we’d been upgraded (I didn’t want an apartment or kitchen?) but by then the room I’d specifically booked wasn’t available. Strange!

  Big room, very quiet, fairly close to many sites in Porto

  Liked: Very good variety in food options with included breakfast. Interesting view of the "backyards of Porto." We had a third floor room. It was a large room. The stairs kept us in shape for the hills of Porto.

  Disliked: Nothing. We did notice that wash clothes appear to not be standard throughout the five places we stayed in Portugal. The lighting in the room was somewhat dim.

  Liked: Location. Comfort house. Spacy and lighty room. Descent breakfast. Good value for money.

  Disliked: The interior is kind of not top quality. Large bathroom but basic, kitchen could be renovated. Some nice elements but not the general feeling is that the room deserve some extra renovation. During summer I believe the room will be very hot or the aircondition should work whole night.
