  Go back in time staying at this beautifully restored historic hotel in downtown Porto

  Liked: Excellent location in the middle of the city, right on Rue de Santa Catarina, a main pedestrian street. Bedroom and bathroom were very clean. Excellent breakfast in the morning, which starts early at 7:30am. Truly beautiful common areas on the first floor.

  Awful I will never use booking,com again

  Liked: I booked hotel in June 2025 however when we arrived we were informed our room had flooded so they had booked a room in a inferior hotel miles sesh from city centre

  Disliked: Rude unhelpful staff and untrue excuses as to why they had used our payment to book an inferior hotel miles from city centre in a rough dangerous area of Porto

  Liked: The ambience, the old style luxury,the kindness of the staff, the location

  Disliked: Always prefer having a sheet not just a duvet as it gets too warm. The bathtub sides are high and too difficult to get over for shower.

  Romantic, exceptional hotel in city center providing a luxurious stay at an affordable price

  Liked: This was an amazing hotel located in the middle of Porto. Centrally located, it was easy to walk to restaurants and shops. The hotel was absolutely gorgeous! The staff went out of their way to be helpful and accommodating! Our stay in a suite was so wonderful and we would highly recommend this as an exceptional hotel! It even includes a rooftop terrace. We went up and brought a glass of wine and enjoyed viewing the city of Porto from above the city...breathtaking!
