Brilliant - best accommodation of our 6 week holiday!

Liked: Great location handy to the riverside bars and restaurants; nice views looking over the River Douro to the port houses. Super friendly and accommodating staff - even looked after some of our luggage while we went up the Douro Valley for a few days and returned back to Porto. Huge room, comfortable beds. Great breakfasts and nice touch with cakes and drinks available during the day for guests who where hungry!

Disliked: Pillows were not the best = asked for these to be changed and despite saying this would happen it did not but a minor quibble given how good everything else was!

Close to everything in Porto with fantastic view of Villa Nova de Gaia

Liked: The food selection and quality was excellent. The staff were also willing to make eggs to order ( scrambled etc). The coffee machine was a nice treat once you knew how to use it properly.

Disliked: You either have to take stairs or drag a suitcase along a long cobblestone ramp to get to the entrance. That could be challenging for some.

We felt very relaxed and safe here. Would return again

Liked: Location, friendly and helpful staff, cleanliness

Disliked: Taxi / u er drop off and pick up point is on main road, meaning that we had to drag suitcases up a cobbled street for a short distance

Liked: Very clean rooms, great location, helpful friendly staff. The complimentary afternoon team was a nice touch.

Disliked: The bathroom was in the middle of the room with only frosted glass walls to separate it from the bedroom, which was odd.
