  A great choice....exceeded our expectations on location

  Liked: We picked this hotel for it's location and it did not disappoint. Located in the heart of old town, short walk to the water, main train station and many restaurants and shops. We had an incredible room with a direct view of the Porto Cathedral right from our bed! (see photo). I think there was a person at reception 24/7.

  Disliked: Poor quality non-smart TV (30") was a bit of a disappointment as we could not watch anything other than CNN and Portuguese TV channels??

  Good value and a great location

  Liked: Reception was great and the room was lovely

  Disliked: We paid for breakfast on arrival (not on booking). The following morning we went to breakfast and were told we had not paid for it as it was not on their list. There were people having breakfast and it was embarrassing. It felt ages whilst we waited at the table with no food or coffee. Eventually I caught the waiter's eye and it was almost that he had forgotten the problem. I waived and he put a thumbs up. It really wasn't comfortable to be left like this.

  Liked: Property was nice. However the room i booked and paid for included breakfast and when I checked into the hotel the room that I got didn’ not include breakfast even though this is the room I paid for. I will be filing a formal complaint with booking.com

  Great hotel in a great location

  Liked: We were a couple and a single friend who had a one bedroom apartment with a pull out couch. I slept on the couch, and it was surprisingly comfortable. The location is PERFECT, could not have been better. Walkable everywhere. And quiet. Highly recommend.

  Disliked: As the single person on the couch, I had to walk through the bedroom to use the toilet. Not a huge deal, but good to know for other travellers.
