  Overall very disappointing experience and feel let down

  Liked: Anna on the front desk was I knowledgeable and friendly. The location was good.

  Disliked: We booked because the property had a jacuzzi/hot tub which was broken for the duration of our stay - no recompense was offered. Noise from a private jacuzzi downstairs was disturbing and particularly annoying give the main one was broken. Poorly equipped kitchen, bed rickety and noisy and overall the place needs investment- a bit tired. Roof garden dug up.

  A beautiful, comfortable apartment with helpful staff, but noise from the hot tubs

  Liked: The apartment was comfortable and beautifully decorated, making us feel right at home. It was equipped with everything we needed, and the large garden with its swimming pool looked lovely. It was reassuring to have staff on site for much of the day. They were very helpful when we reported that a group of Dutch guests had been making noise after 11 pm in a hot tub right next to our bedroom.

  Disliked: A low humming noise from the hot tubs belonging to the apartments below was frequently audible, even inside with the door closed. We could also clearly hear guests talking at a normal volume while using the hot tubs.

  Almost perfect

  Liked: Great staff, facilities and location. The staff were super accommodating and the apartment layout was excellent - we would have appreciated a more comfortable sofa to relax on, though.

  Disliked: There was a constant humming/droning noise coming from the car park/spa area below that prevented us from sleeping with the window open and truly relaxing on our balcony during the day. The cleanliness and quality of coffee provided could be improved and it would be nice if the said coffee was topped up daily rather than every other day.

  Liked: We had a really great stay at Oporto Maison Anselmo, even though we only stayed one night! We got an upgrade and got to spend time at our private jacuzzi. It was really nice, the apartment is decorated nicely, we had quite a lot of things to prepare food and everything was really comfortable! We were allowed to leave our car the second day so that we could enjoy Porto. Very friendly staff! When in Porto, we would definitely come again.

  Disliked: It would be great to have more towel drying racks in the bathroom for all the towels. Unfortunately, we had quite noisy neighbors who were listening to loud music. However, when we called the staff, the problem got resolved quickly.
