Quick and easy communication with lovely host, I was also given recommendations where to go in Porto

Liked: Great location, quick and easy communication with the host, the place is exactly as in pictures and description. Close to the center, nice cafes and shops around. Highly recommend this place!

Disliked: One thing to note - the fact that the toilet was not fully separated (with a wall at the top) from the bathroom - this may be a bit discomfortable if a couple or two people are staying together in the flat. For me that was no problem since I was alone:))

  Beautiful room, disappointing stay

Liked: Amazing location, and as a creative, I really appreciated the thoughtful, design-forward feel of the apartment. The hosts were very proactive before check-in and were kind enough to share local recommendations, which made arriving easier.

Disliked: Unfortunately, several issues affected our stay. The biggest was cleanliness. Within minutes of the host handing us the keys and leaving, we found a dead cockroach in the apartment. That immediately made us question the overall condition of the space for the rest of our stay. We also noticed what appeared to be termite-like insects under the desk, along with several mosquitoes in the apartment. Comfort was another issue. The shower temperature was extremely difficult to regulate, fluctuating to the point that the water became scalding hot every day. It made showering quite uncomfortable. Finally, the comforter had an unpleasant smell. Given our concerns about cleanliness after finding the cockroach, we didn't feel comfortable using it. After contacting Booking.com about the cleanliness concerns, the hosts refunded €40 of the cleaning fee, which we appreciated. However, the issues above significantly affected our overall experience.

  Liked: Location

Disliked: Step after the door, only way to put the plumbing in for the bathroom and kitchenette though. Thus is mainly due to my age i should add!!😁.
