Great location
Liked: Excellent location in the old historic part of the city.
Disliked: Poor WiFi, Not smart TV. No view, just a skylight, not like in the main picture advertised, no washing machine.
Clean and comfortable room near Sao Bento, very central
Liked: The bed was really comfortable for me with my big belly. The room is in an old house and very close to Sao Bento station which was our main aim but also you can walk to the riverfront in less than 10 minutes. You need to save check-in instructions as there are 3 different doors with 3 different access codes to open them. There is a small lift, just about enough for 2 people with backpacks. The view from our room was on R. de Mouzinho da Silveira and the huge arched Mouzinho fountain. Although a busy street, we slept well at night. Breakfast is not provided but we could buy sandwhiches and toast etc. in a café across Sao Bento railway station.

Apart from the apartment’s convenient location, our stay did not meet our expectations
Liked: Only location, as it is quite convenient.
Disliked: The room is in the attic and can only be accessed by stairs. Carrying heavy luggage upstairs was difficult for us, especially as we have knee and back problems. The room has no window. The cabinets were cluttered with cleaning supplies. The hair dryer nozzle was damaged and could not be attached properly for use. The air conditioner was coated in dust and did not cool the room adequately, making our stay uncomfortable during the hot weather. Had I known that the room was in the attic and accessible only by stairs, I would have paid more for the apartment with a balcony.
Liked: The room was spotlessly clean, and the location was excellent! The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, making it feel just like home. Everything was perfect, and we had a wonderful stay. Highly recommended!
