Exceptional
Warm and welcoming place out of town to meet with friends
Liked: Grand old house and friendly helpful hosts.
Disliked: Showers function could be improved, and water temperature. Bath mats would be good to avoid slippery tiles.
Liked: Great host, location and spatious. You can start hikes from the apartment or by driving a short distance. Very good bakery close by.
Disliked: Neighbours have friendly dogs, but if you are not comfortable around dogs than perhaps reconsider!
A well equipped and spacious property surrounded by spectacular mountain hikes and views
Liked: Well equipped and spacious kitchen and living space. Excellent outdoor/veranda facilities with barbecue area. The nearby stream and mountain views make up for the light industrial facilities in the vicinity of the the property. Some truly spectacular hikes and views all within less than a 30 minute drive from the property. The property grew on us the longer we stayed.
Disliked: The dogs were a little intimidating for our 3 year old granddaughter although the courtyard screen did help. We soon learnt they were not a threat.
