  Amazing!

  Liked: I am a Spanish teacher, and I needed some downtime to recharge before the start of the school year. The hostel offers peace, tranquility, and a wonderful setting, not to mention the magnificent yoga classes. I am truly happy with the experience and would come back anytime.

  Liked: The host was one of the nicest I have ever met and helped us all the way through our stay in ways she didn't have to. The view from the accommodation is also absolutely stunning.

  Disliked: You absolutely need a car, the bus system is just very bad in that area.

  Awesome atypical stay

  Liked: Very welcoming and charming place at the center of the village. You can reach everything by walk, only 20min car to the best natural swimmingpool on the ocean side. Very nice view and the FREE morning yoga on the rooftop is the best thing! Very friendly people, feeling like home!

  Liked: it is a very cosy place run by a wonderful woman, with plenty of flowers inside and different items collected over the years. It is a chilled place for chilled people, with a really amazing top balcony with a view over the whole city, the see, the mountains, and the ocean. As a special bonus there are binoculars from the Soviet Union on the rooftop that are so powerful that you can almost observe the life in Las Palmas through them. We watched the sunrise from the balcony and it was magical. The host was very sweet to us.

  A unique stay with a very warm welcome

  Liked: Our stay was everything we expected after reading the listing and guest reviews. It’s not the type of place we would usually stay but Iccara’s friendly warm welcome was enough to make us feel at home as soon as we arrived. We didn’t eat in, although we were invited to, but we joined Iccara and the rest of the guests for drinks on the roof top terrace and kitchen when we arrived back each evening. This place is a lovely welcoming environment to make new friends and enjoy the beautiful Firgas.

  Disliked: Not so much didn’t like but just a warning. The door frames and kitchen entrance are very low, which adds to the charm of this place. My husband got caught out a couple of times. So beware and maybe keep a hat on if you are a bit thin on top 😂
