  Have stayed twice now!

  Liked: I love the scrambled eggs served at breakfast and that breakfast is included. The room was a bit outdated but more than enough for my needs.

  Liked: First impressions were great. Lovely big reception area with excellent front line staff (especially VICTOR) with a great command of the english language. Dining room nice and clean. Food was good. Excellent free WiFi. Bedroom was cleaned each day and was very nice and comfortable. HOWEVER I would have liked a small fridge for my medications which needed to be kept cold. I used the coolest area of the floor in the bathroom for this purpose. It was good to have the use of the safe although it was very old fashioned with a key. which I had to carry around all the time. I didn't get to use the outdoor pool or the area as there was no lift but a lot of steep steps to the top level 5. There is a lovely bar on Level 5 and I must compliment DAVID a very nice young man.

  Clean and comfortable

  Liked: The Bull Astoria is a comfortable and clean older style of hotel in a great location that is just a few minutes walk to Las Canteras beach and promenade. It has 5 upper floors with a roof top bar, swimming pool and terrace, plus a well equipped gym. Food and drink prices in the bar are reasonably priced and the area has plenty of sun loungers. On the lower floor is the restaurant and the buffet breakfast has a good choice of food and drink. Staff are friendly and efficient and check-in was quick and easy. My room was quite basic but had everything you needed - decent shower, plenty of hanging space for your clothes and a desk, chair and tv. The hotel was busy but the noise level was acceptable given how many guests were staying and the fact the hotel is in a bustling part of town. I would definitely stay here again and recommend the Bull Astoria provided you aren’t looking for anything posh and flashy.

  Nice stay in central location

  Liked: Great location, very easy to walk to from the bus station. Right next to the beach. Lots of good places to eat nearby. Roof terrace and bar were fabulous! Excellent value for coffee, beer, snacks. Very clean rooms that were serviced daily. You can hire beach towels and book coach trips to explore the island via reception.

  Disliked: Bed was not comfortable, breakfast was mediocre. The rooms need refurbished. My shower kept leaking water onto the floor. I was sharing a floor with extremely noisy school students which was unpleasant but just bad luck.
