  So comfortable I extended my stay

  Liked: Large double room, large bathroom, towels, and a locker with utensils designated specifically for your room.

  Disliked: Unfortunately, the hygiene needs a major overhaul. While it looks cozy—with little sofas and pictures everywhere—there are flies, and everything in the kitchen is sticky. In the morning, while making coffee, I found cockroaches crawling all over the place. They likely come in from outside, but then again, this isn't the only hostel in the world located on the ground floor with a garden. Absolutely unacceptable! Outrageous!

  Liked: The staff member, Elisa I believe, was helpful and nice. She also kept the place very clean. I liked the garden area as well, and there were also games and books available for use by guests during their stay.

  Disliked: The wifi was out almost our whole stay. As a traveler, this is a huge selling point and the lack of connection was frustrating and inconvenient. Additionally, the front door was finicky and stayed open all night at one point because nobody was able to close it. Also, although the place was clean, there were still some unpleasant smells that lingered, probably due to the cats in some way. Lastly, the location was disappointing. It’s actually farther from other areas in the south than originally thought, especially if taking public transport. Since we didn’t have a car it was very inconvenient to go anywhere unless we wanted to pay taxi fees. Not many restaurants in the area either. It’s very residential and quiet, which is good if that’s what you’re looking for.

  Value for money and cosy atmosphere

  Liked: It is always clean and the owners are kind. There is a nice common area where you can cook or work. Bathrooms are clean

  Disliked: Because it is a bit far from main touristic location, guests usually stay for longer periods and it does not feel like a hostel

  Peaceful stay

  Liked: It was low season and hostel was quite empty. I had everything I need, free parking, clean kitchen and bathroom, towel (rare for a hostel) and great owners. Salute to Eli
