  It could have been a perfect vacation, but there's room for improvement

  Liked: Nice view over Melenara bay and the black sand beach Not too crowded area (compared with the north and south of the island, in the middle of january) After the long flight, I liked the details details on how to get the key from the padlock, also the bottle of water on the table was much appreciated. The kitchen was well equipped, plenty of dishes, cooking pots and cutlery Medium size fridge and freezer, microwave oven, 3 burner gas stove, electric kettle The bedroom has a big wardrobe, with coat hangers, shelves, extra pillows and blankets. The bed was ok. The wifi and tv worked fine At first glance, the apartment seemed cozy and clean

  Disliked: Right in front of the building there was a construction site, quite messy and noisy so you need to go round to get to the beach and Passeo Maritimo. Every morning the neighbours upstairs clean their sheets and blankets over their balcony so the dog hair and lint got in our balcony, carried by the wind We had to dry out beach towels and swimsuits inside because of that. Tried to enjoy the sunrise, but the hair in my coffee was disgusting I informed the host, nothing changed The shower has rust on the accessories, so I couldn't use the corner shelf, I had to put my shower gel and shampoo on the floor The toilet seat is smaller than normal so it doesn't stay up and the lid comes off, tried my best to keep it in place The pillows, sheets, towels and blankets seemed a bit old and shabby The sliding doors towards the balcony have some broken rubber gaskets so if it's cold and windy at night, you'll notice it There is also the noise coming from the airplanes from 5am until midnight, the airport is 8 km away. We had the no.1 apartment, right above a restaurant and the access was through a circular narrow staircase. There is no elevator. Coming and going with backpacks or bags was a real challenge. Reading so many positive comments on the location, I'm not sure we got the same place as the others did

  Nice apartment in great location with lovely view

  Liked: Nice apartment in nice location, lovely view of beach view from balcony. Kitchen was well equipped, all appliances that I needed were there and easy to use. TV and WiFi was good, although a short note with the WiFi code and password would have been useful.

  Disliked: Rust on the shower appliance was a turn-off. There is no air-con, the tower fan was adequate, but more would be better, especially in hot weather.

  Beautiful place, if we go to GC again, defenitely will try to book here again

  Liked: The flat is right on the beach with a beautiful view to the ovean. We loved sitting in the balcony sipping our coffee or wine.

  Disliked: No airconditioning. Even in Octobre the flat warmed up a bit too much during the day and could not cool down in the evening.
