  An authentic mountain cabin experience

  Liked: Host was really helpful, sent a lot of information. There was a lot of stuff in the house for different needs. There are nice views at the moments, when you are not in the clouds:)

  Disliked: Probably January is not the best time for this accommodation. In summer it should be much more enjoyable. But we didn't know that as tourists. Temperature outside was +12 C during day and about +8 C during night. Most of the time we were in clouds. This house sits at about 1100 m above sea level, just in the middle of clouds. When we drove down, it was nicer, when we drove up, there was sun above 1300 m altitude. Because of this, climate inside and outside was humid and cold. There was quite the smell of smoke from the fireplace. And despite electrical heating it was chilly in house (+16 C in bedroom). As I said. in warmer weather it should be more enjoyable.

  Wonderful house in beutiful rural community of Valleseco

  Liked: Spacious comfortable house. Beutiful view. Easy parking. Friendly and attentive host. Heated house which was important during few cold days we had in January.

  Disliked: Difficult access with heavy luggage.

  Mornings over the clouds

  Liked: The views are beautiful, and there is a real sense of peace and tranquility. We visited during the coldest season, in January, and although it was cool, we felt very comfortable; at this altitude in winter the temperature is about 5 degrees lower, but all the rooms have heating. Gran Canaria is not just about sea and beaches. By car, in less than an hour, we discovered incredible places away from the resorts, from Roque Nublo to the Agaete Valley, with lush landscapes and impressive views over the island. Very close by are also the charming towns of Teror and Firgas, near the Azuaje ravine. The house is very well equipped, with everything you need. Communication with our host was exceptional, always attentive and with excellent recommendations.

  Liked: The house was super cosy and the bed was very comfy.The views from the terrace are beautiful and the owner was so kind and helpful! I really enjoyed my visit. It's a very peaceful place to get away from it all.
